Portrait artist | portrait drawing & painting

If you’re interested in a portrait drawing or portrait painting the most important thing to do is get some good quality photos. If the photos aren’t a good likeness then neither will be your final portrait. Supplying a selection along with examples of the kind portraits your like will also be super helpful.

How does commissioning an artist work?

All artist are different, I work best from photographs but I can also create customised subject matter based on a brief. I normally use photographs and photoshop to mock up the final piece prior to starting work, this means that you can see and approve the overall composition of your commissioned art before any time is spent on the artwork.
